# Changing the Makeup Limit for a Group Course

Do your courses vary in length? Or do you simply not want all of them to have the same number of makeup lessons allowed?

In ActiveNow you can set an individual makeup lesson limit for each course.

## How to set the limit for a specific course

Go to the *Courses* tab and open the course you want to update. Navigate to the course details and find the *Making up absences* section.

{% embed url="<https://files.gitbook.com/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FGaO6of35OStmtsM3pEhY%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-bbe6070a31a718832b487a9371a2fc462f1e49b9%2Fzmiana-limitu-odrabian-kurs.mp4?alt=media>" %}

Here you can adjust the makeup rules for this course:

### How many absences can be made up?

Defines how many times participants in this course can make up a missed lesson at a different session.

### Available for makeup

The *No / Yes* toggle controls whether participants from other courses can sign up for makeup lessons in this course.
