# Adding One-Time Classes by Instructors

Do you have students who arrange lessons directly with their instructor and attend on an irregular basis? You can give your instructors the ability to create those one-time classes on their own.

## How to enable one-time class creation by instructors

Go to **Settings → User permissions**, find the *Instructors permissions* card, and enable the *Create one-time classes on their own* option. Once enabled, instructors can create new one-time classes directly from the calendar in their panel.

## What can the instructor do?

* Choose a participant (from those who have had classes with them — current or past)
* Set the colour, location, and online class link
* Delete classes they created themselves — they cannot delete classes created for them by reception
* The class price is set automatically based on the default one-time class price in Settings
* The instructor's salary is set automatically based on the rate used in their most recently created one-time class

Whenever an instructor creates or deletes a class, the school receives a notification in the *Notification Centre*.
